Don’t Get Rekt is a stop-motion animation series featuring five short films where Ledger hardware wallets come to life as expressive musical characters. Each episode follows the same compelling structure: we meet someone making a costly security error, then see our Ledger devices come to life to sing a cautionary tale and help teach the lesson that could have saved the day.

The films cover the fundamentals everyone needs to know: why your private keys belong offline, why “not your keys, not your coins” isn’t just crypto philosophy but survival wisdom, and why your 24-word secret recovery phrase should never see the light of the internet. Each story is paired with the same catchy jingle that drives the message home through music.

Because the best way to protect your assets might just start with a song.

The music of Don’t Get Rekt is just as intentionally crafted. We recorded the song in the studio with incredible musicians, creating an original soundtrack that’s both catchy and memorable. And don’t worry when this song gets stuck in your head—it’ll be available on all major streaming services.

We’re inspired by the same creative lineage that gave us ‘Dumb Ways to Die’ to create memorable, emotional campaigns that make safety feel important and alive. Don’t Get Rekt continues this tradition for the crypto era.

Don’t Get Rekt launches today across Ledger’s channels, offering security education that feels less like a chore and more like something you’d choose to watch. But it doesn’t stop at the videos themselves.

We’ve built an entire creative ecosystem around these characters—complete with GIFs, stickers, and shareable moments—so that content creators, educators, and communities can carry the message forward across countless touchpoints.  It’s a platform designed to live, move, remix, and resonate far beyond the first view.

For every element in this campaign, we chose human artistry over algorithmic convenience because the best messages deserve the best delivery. To highlight that effort, we’ll also be sharing some of the behind-the-scenes content, giving viewers a peek into the craft, care, and efforts behind the magic.
